Annual Banquet 2022

It was lovely to welcome over 100 members and guests to Saddlers' Hall for our Annual Banquet. This year was slightly different as we moved away from turkey to a traditional meal, and we were entertained by a pianist and singers from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. They performed a range of songs that showcased their considerable talents, both through well known songs as well as operatic classics. Our guest speaker was HHJ Sarah Munro KC, who spoke honestly about the problems faced in London, particularly in relation to knife crime. It was sobering to hear Sarah speak and she kindly stayed chatting to guests after the meal as many were keen to hear more about life as a judge at the Old Bailey.
